“FROM SOUTH AFRICA WITH LOVE”

From South Africa with Love explores the folds of the landscape and the chassis of the human body. Working often very closely with her subjects, to a point where they reach a certain level of intimacy. In this series she is inspired by daily physical contact with humans and nature she experienced whilst living in South Africa. Conscious of the stereotypical images of the exotic, she includes the pineapple as a symbol of love and sharing. An homage to skin and tone, lit by the purest of South African suns. The result is a series that expresses openness and intimacy as much as physical beauty.
